The Lamborghini Urus , the SUV brand from Sant’Agata Bolognese, is still in decision-making phase and its entry into the range of the Italian manufacturer is not sure yet. However, assuming that it can get the green light to production (of the second SUV in the history of Lamborghini), we can bet that the road version of the Lamborghini Urus will not arrive on the market before 2017.
After the presentation of the Lamborghini Aventador Roadster at the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show, rumors have it that the Italian brand does not have the need to introduce the Lamborghini Urus just yet, because, the offer is quite varied and the very near future new models will be announced. None of these statements have been confirmed at the official level, although, since the presentation of the concept, the Lamborghini Urus was presented as a future project.
In case that the Lamborghini Urus will actually be unveiled as a road model, it could offer the same modular MLB chassis that is being used on the Audi Q7 , the Porsche Cayenne and the Volkswagen Touareg . In regards to what propels this beauty, again, nothing official regarding an engine — it is not yet clear whether we can hypothesize a hybrid propulsion system, despite the news that saw Lamborghini dissociate completely from the use of electric motors.
So folks, how do you like the Urus?
